ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Jegadeeswaran, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed with the following prayer:- "to extend the time to pay 10% of the compensation amount, as directed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.R.C.(MD).No.1142 of 2025 dated 25.08.2025."

3.The Criminal Revision Case is filed with the following prayer:- "to set aside the judgment passed in Crl.Appeal No.117 of 2018 dated 19.06.2025 on the file of the Sessions Fast Track Mahila Court, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil, confirming the judgment in STC.No.602 of 2018, dated 24.07.2018 on the file of the Fast Track Court, (Judicial Magistrate Level), Nagercoil. "

4.The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 25.08.2025, in Crl.R.C. (MD) No.1142 of 2025 had passed the following order:- "The petitioner is directed to pay 10% of the compensation amount to the credit of STC.No.602 of 2018 on the file of the learned Fast Track Court, Judicial Magistrate Level, Nagercoil, on or before 17.09.2025. 2.Post on 25.09.2025 for compliance."

5.Today, when the matter is being taken up, Mr.R.Jegadeeswaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, prays this Court to grant some further time to the petitioner to make compliance of the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.R.C.(MD) No.1142 of 2025, dated 25.08.2025.

6.Accordingly, considering the arguments as advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also on perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the petitioner is granted two weeks further time to make full compliance of the order passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.R.C.(MD) No.1142 of 2025, dated 22.08.2025, failing which, the Criminal Revision Case will be dismissed by this Court on the next date fixed. 7.Put up the Criminal Revision Case 'for orders' on 23.10.2025 before the appropriate Bench.
