ORDER

The petitioner seeks to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1058 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police to Dindigul District Crime Branch, Dindigul.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that an investigation was conducted in Crime No.1058/2018 and the same was closed as mistake of fact and that RCS notice served on the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner thereafter filed a protest petition before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, which was subsequently withdrawn and consequently, the final report filed by the respondent was accepted by the learned Magistrate and hence, no investigation is pending.

3. This Court is of the view that since no investigation is pending, the prayer sought for by the petitioner is misconceived. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 15.10.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No cp 2/4
