This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.25 of 2012 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that after completion of investigation, the respondent police filed Charge Sheet in Crime No.25 of 2012, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil, which has been taken as C.C.No.23 of 2013.

4. Mr.R.Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending from 2013 without any progress and direction may be given for speedy disposal of the case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the facts and submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.23 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
