Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to release and disburse the scheme amount deposited under Sivagami Ammayar Female Child Protection Scheme in CAA176235, CAA176236 in the name of petitioner's daughters namely Amutha and Anusuya by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2023 and 14.11.2023 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Advocate for the fourth respondent. 2.The writ petitioner is a mother of two girl children. The elder one was born on 12.11.2001 and the younger one was born on 26.03.2003.

The Government of Tamil Nadu had issued G.O.(Ms)No.199 dated 31.12.2001 for providing financial assistance in 2/4

such cases. The case of the petitioner had already been enquired into by the District Social Welfare Officer, Tenkasi. The said authority had already sent communication bearing Na.Ka.No.142/83/2023 dated 25.11.2023 calling upon the fifth respondent to credit the deposit amount. The fifth respondent is directed to release and credit the petition mentioned scheme amounts in the respective bank accounts of the petitioner's children. This shall be done by the fifth respondent within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.This writ petition is allowed accordingly.
