ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus for appointing the petitioner on compassionate ground.

2. According to the writ petitioner, his father, who was working as a Cook in Adi Dravidar Welfare Hostel died in harness on 31.03.2014. The petitioner as son of the deceased had submitted an application on 17.06.2014 along with no objection certificate from his sisters. The application has been forwarded by the second respondent to the first respondent herein on 28.01.2016 and a recommendation has been sent on 07.09.2020. However, so far the first respondent has not passed any orders. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to pass orders on the recommendations made by the second respondent herein on merits and in accordance with law based upon the qualification and seniority 2/4

of the writ petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
