PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS to direct the Respondent No.3 to dispose the appeal made by the Petitioner dated 25.04.2025 and cancel the patta stand in the name of Respondents Nos.5 and 6 and some other persons for the Survey Nos. 1/4

168/1, 167/5A, 151/1, 151/4, 87/1, 111/3, 111/4, 174/3, 205/2, 77/8, 40/5, 89/10, 11/1, 13/3, 170/12, 169/5A and 199/1 situated Kanjanayakkanpatti Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Viruthunagar District within the time stipulated as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

After filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer on 25.04.2025 for cancellation of the patta issued to the 5th and 6th respondents, by this writ petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal thereof. 2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. He submits that the appeal would be disposed of on merits within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all the parties thereto. 3.In view of the above submissions, it is not necessary to issue notice to the private respondents in this writ petition. This writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal on 2/4
