ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 IPC in Crime No.485 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the accused purchased gold jewel in a jewellery shop, they took the original gold jewels and put spurious gold jewels in that place. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that in this case, co-accused one Meenakshi was arrested and based on her confession, this petitioner has been implicated in this case. Hence, he has strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/3

5.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on the record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
