PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to reimburse the Medical expenses of Rs.6,75,000/- incurred by the petitioner for his Medical Treatment, at Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai as per the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 26.06.2025 with interest at 7.5% per annum within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the third respondent to reimburse the Medical expenses of Rs.6,75,000/- incurred by the petitioner for his Medical Treatment, at Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai as per the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 26.06.2025 with interest at 7.5% per annum within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the second respondent had forwarded the proposal on 26.06.2025 to the third respondent with regard to the 2/5

reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the proposal sent by the second respondent on 26.06.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
