O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus to forbear the respondent Nos.1 and 2 from granting any explosive license to the 5th respondent for storage of petrol at T.S. Nos.470/1 and 470/2 situated at West Veli Street Opposite to Madurai Junction Railway Station, Madurai District, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a representation before the respondents on 02.11.2023 seeking to not to grant any explosive license to the 5th respondent for storage of petrol at T.S. Nos.470/1 and 470/2 situated at West Veli Street Opposite to Madurai Junction Railway Station, Madurai District. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2023 would be considered in accordance with law. 3/6

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
