letter No.2448/Ng&1/2023-1, dated 11.05.2023, by considering representation of the petitioner, dated 24.09.2022, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Executive Officer of Municipal Administration who attained superannuation on 30.04.2001. After his retirement, the petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent on 24.09.2022 seeking to re-fix his notional Pay Scale with effect from 30.04.2001 on par with his juniors and thereby, revise the pensionary benefits. The said representation is pending before the second respondent without passing any orders.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2/4

3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.09.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
