O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a B.T.Assistant (Tamil) Teacher working in the Government High School, Sivaviduthi, Thanjavur District challenging his order of suspension dated 09.08.2024.

2. A perusal of the suspension order reveals that based upon the enquiry conducted by District Educational Officer, Thanjavur District on 05.08.2024, the petitioner has been placed under suspension.

3. The petitioner has given a representation on 07.10.2024 to the second respondent seeking revocation of suspension. However, so far the second respondent has not chosen to consider the said representation. Considering the fact that the suspension is based upon the enquiry report of District Educational Office, Thanjavur dated 05.08.2024. 2/4

4. This Court is not inclined to enter into the merits of the order of suspension dated 09.08.2024. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
