PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing to the 1st and 2nd respondents to subdivide the property in 91/2A to an extent of 9 cents out of 25 cents, Kambarampettai Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District and thereafter, issue separate patta to the petitioner's name on the strength of the Judgment in O.S.No.318/2019 on the file of the District Munsif-Cum-Magistrate Court, Srirangam within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. 1/4

ORDER
By relying on the Judgment and Decree dated 01.07.2024 is O.S.No.318 of 2019, the petitioner had applied for the subdivision of the land in S.No.91/2A of an extent of 9 cents and for issuance of a separate patta in the name of the petitioner. On the ground that the said request was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.Learning Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. By placing on record the extract from the "A" Register, he points out that the land is classified as Arasu Poramboke. He also points out that this land has been vested with the Public Works Department. Without prejudice, he submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and 2/4
dispose of the petitioner's representation within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other person interested in the relevant property. No costs.
