PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the 2nd Respondent to survey the land and to place the survey stones in Survey No.728/7, to an extent of 0.13.50 ares, situated at Vellaikonpatti, Mulloor Village, Pudukottai Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2025 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER
By relying on patta No.1770 and release deed dated 19.02.2024 bearing document No.1296 of 2024, the petitioner had applied for a survey of land in S.No.728/7 of an extent of 0.13.50 ares. On the ground that such request was not acted upon within a reasonable time, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's application would be acted upon within 12 weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim in relation to the property. 3.In these circumstances, the respondents are directed to take necessary action on the petitioner's application for survey within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after putting all the relevant adjacent land owners on notice. No costs.
