O R D E R

The petitioner had applied for cancellation of the patta issued to the fourth respondent. By this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks consideration and early disposal thereof.

2. Learned special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the petitioner's request is pending consideration by the Revenue Divisional Officer. He further submits that the representation would be considered and disposed of on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fourth respondent.

3. In view of the above submissions, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the fourth respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and 2/4

dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fourth respondent. No costs.
