ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 01.10.2024 for mutation of patta with respect of the petition mentioned properties situated at Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and carefully perused the entire materials available on record.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions submitted that the application for effecting mutation of patta has already been considered and the petitioner was called for an enquiry conducted by the third respondent on 30.09.2024. However, the petitioner failed to appear and hence, the third respondent was not able to take a final decision in this matter. 2/4

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court hereby direct the petitioner to approach the third respondent, submit all relevant documents and cooperate for the enquiry to be conducted in this regard. On the petitioner's appearance, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after putting the petitioner and any other necessary parties, if any, on notice, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
