PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to change the investigation and further investigate the matter expeditiously and file a final report in Cr.No.67 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent police.

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to change the investigation and further investigate the matter expeditiously and file a final report in Cr.No.67 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent police.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate( Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the case pertaining to Crime No. 67 of 2013, final report has been filed on 28.02.2018,in which, the Investigation Officer closed the investigation as Action Dropped. Hence, the prayer sought for in the Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.
