By tracing the title from a settlement deed dated 22.02.2008 and 1/4

asserting rights under a subsequent settlement deed dated 10.10.2023, the petitioner applied for mutation of the patta in his name. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the sole respondent. He submits that the Tahsildar would consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta transfer within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta transfer within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other persons interested in the relevant property.
