The petitioner is the sole accused in C.C.No.94 of 2012, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivagangai. This petition has been filed under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.94 of 2012.

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent represented that on 04.03.2012 itself, the case pertaining to this petition was disposed of, in which the petitioner is acquitted from all the charges levelled against him.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
