PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the Respondents to return the Petitioner's property in Survey No.130/3 (Old Survey No.434/3), Eragudi South, Thuraiyur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, which was acquired for the Adi Dravidar Welfare Scheme, by consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025, within the time frame fixed by this Court. 1/4

The petitioner has prayed for a direction to return his property by considering the representation dated 22.07.2025. 2.Learned Government Advocate has placed on record written instructions dated 28.10.2025 from the Special Tahsildar, Adi Dravidar Welfare stating that the petitioner's request has been placed before the District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer for consideration. Learned Government Advocate submits that the third respondent would pass orders on merits within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025 within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
