PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 to 4 to take steps to remove the cement shed built by the 5th respondent upon the Government Poramboke temple land situated in Survey No.483, Pungamarathupatti, Salukkuvarpatti, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2025. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) Prayer is for a mandamus, directing the official respondents 1 to 4, to remove the cement shed built by R5 on government land in S.No. 483, Pungamarathupatti, Salukkuvarpatti, Aruppukkottai taluk, Virudhunagar District ('land in question').

2. On an advance copy of the writ petition having been received, written instructions dated 24.09.2025 have been obtained in 2/4

Na.Ka.No.A2/6603/2025. The authorities state that the survey was conducted on 06.09.2025 and it has been ascertained that there is an encroachment by way of an enclosed shed caused by R5 in the land in question. They state that necessary action is being taken on the same, in accordance with law, and within a period of 12 weeks from today. As the petitioner is satisfied with this order, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
