ORDER

The petitioner herein is arrayed as accused in Crime No.49 of 2013, pending on the file of the first respondent police. He filed this petition under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the said FIR.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions would submit that in the above said crime number, after completing investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi, which was taken on file as C.C.No.139 of 2013. Further, he added that after assigning the above said case number, the said case was again transferred to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Pudukkottai, and assigned with a case number as C.C.No.502 of 2018.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
