This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.334 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that it is a case and case in counter. The respondent has completed investigation in both the cases. He would further submit that investigation in Crime No. 334 of 2024 has been completed and final report has been filed before the PCR Court, Thanjavur vide E.filing No.LTN20220002019C202400520 on 08.12.2024. In the counter case final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kumbakonam and it is yet to be taken cognizance.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The trial Court is directed to take the final report on file in both the cases as expeditiously as possible. However, the petitioner is at

liberty to challenge the final report. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
