PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS Act. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 20 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. 1/4
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- When the matter came up for hearing on 05.12.2024, this Court passed the following order: The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 69 of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.20 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had a love affairn with the de-facto complainant. On promise to marry, the petitioner is said to have had physical intercourse with the de-facto complainant and later, refuse to marry the defacto complainant.
3. Heard Mr.S.Sathyachidambaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Albert James, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Sic appearing for the respondent and Mr.R.Ganesh Prabhu, learned counsel appearing for the de-facto complainant.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the petitic and the defacto complainant are referred to the Mediation centre attache this Bench. The petitioner and the de-facto complainant shall appear before Mediation centre on 11.12.2024 at 3.00 p.m. The process of the Mediation shall be commenced immediately and a report shall be filed before this Court before the next date of hearing.

5. Post this case on 23.01.2025.
6. In the meantime, the respondent police shall not arrest the petitioner.
2. The parties were not able to reach settlement before the mediation centre.
3. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner married another woman on 05.12.2024.
4.
