ORDER

The petitioner had sent representation to the first respondent stating that in the guise of enquiry, not even considering the petitioner being a lady, the second respondent police has called the petitioner at odd hours and frequently. Since no action has been taken, the present petitioner has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the third respondent lodged a complaint against the petitioner stating that the petitioner had taken a car for rent from third respondent and thereafter, neither she paid rent nor return the vehicle. The said complaint was taken on file as CSR.No.1535 of 2024. For the purpose of enquiry, the petitioner was called, which the petitioner termed as harassment.

The learned counsel for the petitioner refused the same stating that the petitioner transferred amount of Rs.5,00,000/- for purchase of car through bank account, which the third respondent has not acknowledged. Suppressing the same, the third respondent had lodged a complaint as if the petitioner taken car for rent.

4. Whatever may be, the petitioner to appear before the respondent police in connection with CSR.No.1535 of 2024 and give her explanation. Thereafter, the respondent police to conclude the enquiry without a period of two months therefrom.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner will appear before the respondent police on 13.12.2024.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
