ORDER

The petitioners stand accused in C.C.No.206 of 2011 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam for the offences under Sections 143 and 188 of I.P.C.

2. It is true that the petitioners have defied the duly promulgated order of the public servant. But then nothing adverse happened. It was only defiance simpliciter.

3. This Court is of the view that in the interest of justice the prosecution should not be continued. Hence, the proceedings in C.C.No.206 of 2011 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, stand quashed.
