The present writ petition has been filed by a Women Police Constable seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent herein to dispose of the review application filed by her and pending with the first respondent herein.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the second respondent by his order, dated 27.04.2019 has confirmed the order of punishment imposed upon the writ petitioner for postponement of next increment for three years with cumulative effect. Challenging the said order, the petitioner herein has filed a review application before the first respondent on 11.12.2021. A reminder has been sent to the first respondent on 08.11.2023. So far, review application is pending before the first respondent herein.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2/4

4. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to dispose of the review application filed by the writ petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
