O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the survey and fix the four boundaries in SF Nos. 273/3, 273/5, 273/7, 274/6, 274/8 and 275/6 with an total extent of 1.19.00 ares in Patta No. 532 situate at Karambakudi Revenue Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering petitioners representation dated 23.10.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation along with necessary fees on 23.10.2024 to conduct survey and demarcate the properties in question. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 23.10.2024 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after considering the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
