PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property in Survey No.468/3B3 (sub-divided as 468/3B3A & 468/3B3A & 468/3B3B) measuring 1 Acre 58 cents at V.Puthukottai Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District together with the fourth respondent allotted 2 cents and to mark proper boundaries as per revenue records with police protection within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property in Survey No.468/3B3 (sub-divided as 468/3B3A & 468/3B3A & 468/3B3B) 2/6

measuring 1 Acre 58 cents at V.Puthukottai Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District and to mark proper boundaries as per revenue records with police protection.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an application has been made for demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5.In view of the above, this Court directs the official respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 04.08.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of 3/6

the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.. However, it is open to the survey officials to take the assistance of the third respondent police for conducting the survey. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
