This Writ petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider petitioners representation dated 17.11.2023 and to give adequate police protection to the petitioners life and limb and the properties of the petitioners and the business run by the petitioners in the name and style of Sri Muniyandi Vilas, Thirumangalam bus stand complex, Thirumangalam, in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is an issue between the husband and wife. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the son of the petitioners has given a complaint on 01.11.2023 against his wife and others that was enquired in CSR No.992 of 2023 and it was closed stating that it is a matrimonial issue between the parties. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, trouble was created by the fourth respondent, over which representation was given. He further submitted that there is no property dispute between the complainant and the petitioners herein and no civil proceedings is pending before any other Court.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the earlier complaint dated 01.11.2023, made by the son of the petitioner, was enquired and closed for the reason that it is a matrimonial issue between the parties.
4. Let the representation of the petitioners dated 17.11.2023, be disposed of by summoning the petitioners as well as the private parties, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
