ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Senior Driver of the respondent Corporation who attained superannuation on 31.10.2018.

2. According to the writ petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 19.09.2019. Hence, he has made a representation on 20.08.2023 seeking interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. In view of the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% from the due date till 18.09.2019 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
