The petitioner, with a grievance that the medical expenses incurred by him for the treatment undergone by his wife due to Covid-19 was not reimbursed by the fourth respondent Insurance Company has approached this Court, seeking a Mandamus, to direct the fourth respondent Insurance Company to reimburse the medical expenses incurred by him.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's wife was suffered with Covid-19, for which, she underwent treatment in a Network hospital in the year 2021. The 2/5
petitioner has made a claim for eligible medical reimbursement and the same was not considered so far. Therefore, this petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Today(10.10.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent Insurance Company fairly submits that the fourth respondent has processed the application of the petitioner and a sum of Rs.1,09,926/- has been credited to the petitioner's Bank account on 08.08.2024. 4.Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the fourth respondent Insurance Company, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
