ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st Respondent to instruct the 2nd Respondent, not to harass the Petitioner repeatedly under the guise of enquiry without due process of law.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.) submitted that on the basis of the instructions given by the Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur dated 14.03.2022, the petitioner was called for enquiry with regard to his present business position, as the case may be.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that previously the petitioner was involved in lottery offences. Now he is working in BSNL, Tanjavur, as a contract employee.

4. Let the petitioner appear before the respondent and give particulars as the employment / business, as the case may be. The second respondent may send proper reply to the Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur and close the enquiry in this regard. 2/4

5. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
