PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to furnish a copy of the acquisition notification issued under Section 15 (1) and (2) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 along with a copy of the award made in respect of the petitioners' land in S.Nos/1374/1 and 1374/2, Goripalayam Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai, based on the representation, dated 20.08.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

The Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to furnish a copy of the acquisition notification issued under Section 15 (1) and (2) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 along with a copy of the award made in respect of the petitioners' land within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents produced a copy of the award, dated 15.06.2023, and has also undertaken to furnish the copy of the same along with, 15(1), 15(2) notification within a period of 2 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the petitioner.
