ORDER

The petitioner seeks police protection to him.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner - Sureshkumar and the third respondent - Subbaiah are brothers. The dispute is with reference to maintenance of their father - Palaniyandi. Even though the petition was given, when called for enquiry, both the parties did not co-operate and as such, the petition closed.

3. If and when any specific offence is committed by the third respondent, the same can be reported by the petitioner in the manner known to law and the respondent police can only consider the said complaint, subject to its veracity, in accordance with law.

4. With such liberty preserved to the petitioner, this Petition stands closed.
