ORDER

This Review Application has been filed to review the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.23849 of 2016, dated 18.09.2024.

2. The review applicant had filed an application before the second respondent seeking removal of the name of the fourth respondent from the joint patta. The said application was dismissed on 16.07.2025. The order of dismissal was thereafter challenged before the first respondent, who erroneously allowed the appeal and directed removal of the fourth respondent's name from the joint patta.

3. Aggrieved by the said order, the fourth respondent herein filed W.P.MD)No.23849 of 2016 before this Court. This Court, by order dated 18.09.2024, allowed the writ petition by setting aside the impugned order dated 31.10.2016, and directed the parties to approach the Revenue Authorities after the disposal of the suit in O.S.No.22 of 2017 on the file of the First Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli. This Court further directed 2/5

that the learned First Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli, shall pass judgment uninfluenced by any of the observations made by this Court or by the order passed by the Revenue Authorities.

It is now informed that O.S.No.22 of 2017, which was pending before the First Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli, has been transferred to the learned Principal District Judge, Tenkasi, and renumbered as O.S.No. 50 of 2017. On that basis, the present Review Application has been filed seeking modification of the order to reflect the correct suit number and the name of the Court.

5. In view of the above, the order dated 18.09.2024 made in W.P.(MD) No.23849 of 2016 stands reviewed to that limited extent. Accordingly, the reference to O.S.No.22 of 2017 on the file of the First Additional District Judge, Tirunelveli shall be read as O.S.No.50 of 2017 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tenkasi. Except for the above modification, all other portions of the order shall remain unaltered.

6. With the above modification, this Review Application is allowed. No costs.
