For Petitioner : Mr.S.Poornachandran For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to withdraw the Crime No.348 of 2023 on the file of the 3rd respondent and entrust the same to the 2nd respondent and direct the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file and Final Report before the concerned learned Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that now the identification of the vehicle is under way and so far, thirteen witnesses have been examined. CCTV Cameras put up near by the places are verified. In the CCTV footage, the vehicle is visible, but that registration number is not traceble and not visible also. Inspite of recording the statement of the persons, who were available near the place of occurrence, it could not be verified. Further, investigation is under way and it will be completed within a period of one month. 2/4

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, let the above said investigation be completed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If no progress is made in the investigation, the petitioner can revive the application.

4. With the above said direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
