For Respondents : Mr.J.K.Jayaseelan, Government Advocate COMMON ORDER The petitioners with a grievance that their applications for Heavy Vehicle Licence have not been considered by the respondents and the same have been rejected by impugned proceedings dated 12.10.2023, have filed these writ petitions.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the petitioners' applications have not been rejected and they have been returned for compliance of certain defects and if the petitioners fulfill the requirements as per the return, the same would be processed as expeditiously as possible.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to re-submit their 3/5

applications after complying with the defects pointed out by the respondents within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such applications, the respondents shall take a decision and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of one week from thereon. No costs.
