O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to issue the house tax receipt in respect of the petitioner's house situated in Survey No.152/6D, Konnaipatti Village, Konnaipatti Panchayat, Semboodhi Post, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2025, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, in the present case, by virtue of a partition, the petitioner was allotted the subject house and thereby acquired title over the said property. Pursuant thereto, patta was also issued in his favour in Patta No.224. When the petitioner made a representation to the official respondents seeking issuance of the house tax receipt in his name, the same has not been considered till date.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents would submit that no online application has been made by the petitioner. He would further submit that if the petitioner makes an online application, the respondents would consider the same in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the petitioner to make an online application before the concerned authority. Upon receipt of such application, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's request and include the petitioner's name for the purpose of issuance of house tax receipt in respect of the property situated in Survey No.152/6D, Konnaipatti, Konnaippatti Panchayat, Semboodhi Post, Ponamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
