The instant writ petition has been filed by a Salesman working in the respondent Co-operative Society seeking a mandamus to sanction revised salary of Rs.30,350/- and disburse the same to the petitioner. 1/4

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner was removed from service on 14.12.2013. The said removal order was put to challenge by him before the Labour Court, Dindigul. The Joint Commissioner of Labour was pleased to set aside the order of removal from service and directed the Respondent society to reinstate the petitioner by way of order dated 19.07.2018. However, he was implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.88 of 2012 on the file of the Crime Branch of Essential Commodities Act. After completion of full-fledged trial the petitioner was acquitted from the said case by an order dated 28.09.2017. Thereafter, the petitioner was reinstated in service as attender by an order dated 10.08.2023. According to the petitioner he has receiving salary only Rs.12,142/- per month. Therefore, he had sent a representation to the respondents to enhance the salary to Rs.30,350/-. Since, the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

Without going into the merits of this writ petition, this Court directs the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2024, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
