Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry by interfering in civil dispute. ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass him and his family members under the guise of enquiry by interfering in a civil dispute.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that initially, CSR was registered on the complaint given by the third respondent and hence, the petitioner was called for enquiry; that the respondent Police during enquiry found that the complaint discloses only a civil dispute; and that CSR was closed.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the apprehension expressed by the petitioner no longer exists. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 02.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Lm 2/4
