PETITIONS FOR BAIL Under Sec.483 of BNSS COMMON PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.396 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.11.2024 for the offences under Section 303(2) of BNS Act (hereinafter referred to as new penal code) and Section 21(1) of Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.396 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners had transported 8 units of river sand in a bullock cart without any valid license. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 4.Considering the fact that eight units of river sand was seized in this case from eight accused persons and all of them have been arrested only on 26.11.2024 and considering the previous cases pending against them, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail at this stage. 3/4
