This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing a private complaint in C.C.No.467 of 2009 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Madurai.

2.The petitioner figures as A2 in the impugned complaint. 3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side submitted that the matter has been amicably settled. They also filed a joint compromise memo. In view of the same, the impugned proceedings shall stand quashed insofar the petitioner/second accused is concerned. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed accordingly. It is made clear that the proceedings shall go on against the first accused. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
