This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to remove the hypothecation endorsement in the registration certificate of the petitioner's motor vehicle bearing No.TN 45 BQ 8826 and to issue fresh registration certificate, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Today(06.12.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
