ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to return the jewelry pledged by petitioner's mother namely Saroja in a Jewel Loan Account No.1094/2023-2024 dated 18.02.2023. 2.By consent of both parties, considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials on record.
4.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents Bank, on instructions, submitted that the said exercise should be considered by the Bank only on the appearance of the petitioner along with two surviving daughters of the deceased, ie., petitioner's sisters and the legal heirs of brother of the petitioner 2/5
Natarajan, who is also no more, before the respondent Bank and submit necessary documents in person.
5.Recording the same, the petitioner is directed to approach the Bank along with other surviving legal heirs of deceased Saroja and on their appearance, the respondent Bank is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law forthwith.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
