Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to recover the petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.TN 59 BW 7399 from the custody of the 3rd and 4th respondents by considering petitioner's complaint dated 06.01.2025, C.S.R.No.17 of 2025 issued by the 2nd respondent and reminder representation dated 02.09.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the second respondent to recover the petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.TN 59 BW 7399 from the custody of the respondents 3 and 4 by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 06.01.2025, CSR.No.17 of 2025 issued by the second respondent and reminder representation dated 02.09.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that based on the petitioner's complaint, an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands closed with direction to the respondent Police to serve the closure report on the petitioner forthwith. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs. 26.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Lm 2/4
