This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Cr. No. 116 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in this case, the respondent Police has completed investigation and yet to file a final report before the respondent Police.

3.However, the learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are the land owners of the subject property and they have ample materials to show their title.

4.In view of the same, the petitioners are directed to produce the documents pertaining to their title before the first respondent Police and on receipt of the same, the first respondent Police is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioners along with the relevant documents and if the contentions of the petitioners are found to be genuine and acceptable, take appropriate action. 2/4

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
