PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing these respondents 1 to 4, to issue patta, in favour of the petitioner of his land of 1 Acre, 91 cents (0.77.5 Hec.Ars), in S.No.144 / 2A, Sambakulam revenue village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by following due procedures of law, within a time frame fixed by Court.

ORDER

By this writ petition, the petitioner sought for a direction in relation to the application for issuance of patta.

2.At today's hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents, has placed on record the order dated 21.02.2025 stating that O.S.No.66 of 2017 is pending and that patta transfer would be effected on the basis of the verdict in such suit. 3.In view of this development, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed by leaving it open to the petitioner to challenge the order in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed.
