O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.223 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.223 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 147,269,143,341 and 294 of IPC against the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in pursuance of the G.O., passed by the Government, the cases that have been registered for violation of the conditions imposed during the Covid-19 Pandemic, have been dropped.

4. In view of the same this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.223 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent is hereby quashed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
