ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to remove the perishable goods from the sealed premises situate in D.No.90, 91 ,92 of Teachers Colony, Pettai, ITI Back Side, Tirunelveli Village, Tirunelveli Taluk, Tirunelveli District within the time frame stipulated by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. By an interim order dated 16.12.2024, we had directed the 5th respondent herein to remove the seal from the petitioner's premises to enable him to remove the perishable goods. The said order is extracted hereunder:
"The learned counsel for the 5th respondent submitted that some reasonable time may be given only for the limited purpose of removing the perishable goods from the petitioner's sealed 3/6
premises.
2. In the light of such a submission, the 5th respondent shall remove the seal from the petitioner's premises at Door No.90, 91, 92 of Teachers Colony, Pettai, ITI Backside, Tirunelveli Village, Tirunelveli Taluk and District by 10.00 a.m. of 18.12.2024 and reseal the premises on 20.12.2024. Till such time, the petitioner is at liberty to remove the perishable goods from the premises. However, the petitioner shall not indulge or use the premises for any other purpose other than the one for which the present order is passed, ie., removal of perishable goods.
3. Call on 06.01.2025 under the caption, 'for orders'.
4. Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned standing counsel for the 5th respondent herein submitted that the order passed on 16.12.2024 was complied with and the petitioner has also removed the perishable goods therein. As such, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and hence no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. 4/6
