This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate appropriate action on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.09.2010 in Crime No.287 of 2009 and arrest the co-accused and recover 246 sovereigns of gold and 6 kgs. of silver from the receiver.

2.After investigation, the respondent police closed the FIR in crime No.287 of 2009 as not traceable. Accordingly, the respondent police filed a final report before the concerned authority, by an order dated 21.08.2009. The copy of the said report has also been served on the petitioner. 3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the case in crime No.287 of 2009. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, liberty granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
